Ark Electrical is a family-owned, faith-based, full-service residential and commercial electrical contractor in Cedar Crest, New Mexico.
After years of hands-on experience in the trade, Juan Fernandez launched Ark Electrical to bring faith-based honesty, reliability and quality electrical services to his neighbors in the East Mountains. The company has worked alongside local builders from the start, completing the wiring for their new builds and remodels, and now runs from a storefront suite on NM-14 in Cedar Crest with a licensed team in the field.
From improving the safety and reliability of an older electrical system to upgrading panels, installing backup generators, or bringing smart-home technology into your home, we handle it with upfront flat-rate pricing and free estimates.

Meet the team

Founded Ark Electrical after more than a decade of hands-on work in the trade. Juan is the systems designer, project estimator, permitting and NEC compliance lead, and quality assurance on every job. Off the clock, he coaches baseball, works the family farm, and raises his family to always do what’s right in the eyes of the Lord.
Senior Electrical Specialist
Joined in 2025 with a commercial background and is finishing the final steps toward his journeyman license. Specializes in manufactured home services, EV charger installations, and panel upkeep and upgrades. Rock climbs the East Mountains and snowboards in winter.
Apprentice Field Specialist
Recently earned his residential electrical certificate and is known on job sites for great organization and cable management.
